FAW C Certificate

The FAW C Certificate is delivered utilising a variety of in-person education contacts, online workshops and off course mentoring sessions in regional hubs.

It is designed to educate candidates in the technical, physical, psychological and social requirements of modern football. It will develop candidates’ ability to plan, prepare, deliver and reflect on coaching sessions for the development of players.

Coaches will complete online modules and coursework throughout the course and be expected to deliver practical sessions, both on and off course. However, there is no formal assessment.

FAW Football Leaders Award

This online eLearning award provides a basic and engaging introduction to the organisation of football practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on engaging with the young players of today.

The award provides learners with an opportunity to discover and consider the technical and social support that we, as coaches, can provide to our players, discussing various practical aspects.

These include: the importance of area size, practice transitions, progressions and regressions, as well as ensuring the learner takes a closer look at themselves, their role as a coach, and how they currently share the messages they provide players.
